Cathy Leigh Comer Justice, little girl and lone offspring of Thomas Leigh and Virginia Ruth Comer, was conceived January 28, 1953 in Beckley, WV and experienced childhood in Prosperity, WV.


She went to Raleigh County Public Schools, where she met her future spouse, Governor Jim Justice. Cathy moved on from Marshall University in 1975 with a degree in Secondary Education. She and the future Governor were hitched the following year.


Upon the passing of her dad, Cathy became President of Comer Electric, Inc., a business began by her dad and mom. She additionally served on the Board of Directors of First National Bank of Ronceverte, WV, for a very long time.


As a little youngster, First Lady Justice was extremely dynamic in the 4-H James C. Justice Companies, Inc. association and her adoration for ponies drove her and Governor Justice to get engaged with the pure breed reproducing and dashing activity.
